I'm so happy to see so many friends over here! I'm a biomedical engineer working in pediatric orthopaedics. My research focuses on foot & ankle mechanics, imaging, and machine learning.
Our undergraduate research assistants with the Orthopaedic & Rehabilitation Engineering Center did a great job showcasing this intital pediatric weightbearing CT work in collaboration with Shriners Children's Chicago.

I'm forever honored to be the bookends of Tom Brown's PhD students with Don Anderson. It was incredible to see 13 of 19 of his PhD students together. His approach to rigorous science, thinking creatively, and clinical collaborations have played a large role in my career

It was a real privilege and pleasure to return to the University of Iowa to honor my mentor at the dedication of the Thomas D Brown Biomechanics Research Lab. The fact that 13 of his 19 former PhD students attended says a lot about the lasting impact of his mentorship. @karenkruger.bsky.social
