This study used caliberated CT to show that bone density changes across the innominate bone due to age and sex tend to vary between individuals, although consistent effects were seen at specific regions. buff.ly/j2Uhe4J

The periosteum, a thin connective tissue covering the surface of bone, is densely populated with nerve fibers. Recent work published in @jorthopres.bsky.social by @svarghese.bsky.social et al. highlights how periosteal injury prolongs pain after bone fracture.
