every so often i try to help someone with a weird problem they have and then after an hour they go "oh yeah i set up my windows install where it doesn't run exe files for security" and i wonder what on earth happened to drive them to this point

i hate this halo remake news because of the amount of work 343 sunk into MCC's halo:ce component specifically without any promise of return and out of their own desires to ensure that halo is preserved as well as possible for as long as possible
