The Security forces and LEAs have been carrying out vengeful actions in Zehri town of Khuzdar. Yesterday, they raided the entire area and forcibly abducted and disappeared several people.

Yesterday, they raided the entire area and forcibly abducted and disappeared several people. The identities of twelve individuals has been confirmed while others remain unknown.  Their names are: •Khalid Baloch s/o Abdul Samad •Shabbir Baloch s/o Ali Akbar •Faiz Baloch s/o Ali Akbar  •Imran Baloch s/o Ali Akbar  •Bilal  Baloch s/o Ali Akbar •Fahad Baloch s/o Ali Akbar •Zubair Baloch s/o Muhammad Ishaq •Jahanzaib Baloch s/o Abdul Khaliq •Nadir Baloch s/o Sarwar •Fardeen Baloch s/o Karim •Dawood Baloch s/o Qadir •A. Karim s/o Bahudin In response, the victim families and people have blocked the Zehri Cross at Anjira area as well as the main N-25 (Quetta-Karachi Highway) at Surab Cross, in protest and staged sit-ins. The Zehri town is observing a complete shutter down and a sit-in in front of the Levies Station. The people have vowed that protests would continue until the safe release of all the abducted individuals. Baloch Yakjehti Committee stands in solidarity with the victim families of Zehri and appeals to the people from nearby areas to join the sit-ins. The Pakistani state will have to answer for the pain and suffering the Baloch nation is currently enduring. On one hand, they occupy Baloch land, and on the other, they martyr Baloch sons or subject them to enforced disappearances at the hands of occupying forces.
