Yes. I am right. I am seeing how Chat GPT is ruining students critical thinking and writing skills in real time. It is not the future. It is a tool designed to render the populace helpless, to make people doubt their innate intelligence, and to foster overreliance on technology.
@roxanegay.bsky.social maybe you’re right.

It's almost as if the two are connected somehow; probably just a coincidence
“Decarbonizing” oil will work about as well as ‘decolonizing’ Canada has
Lots of hoopla in the news today about Carney's "decarbonized oil" statement... but just a friendly reminder the idea is not new: The Trudeau government came out with a "Roadmap for the Decarbonization of Canada's Oil and Gas Sector" back in 2023.

This is 10-12 tenure-track assistant professors’ salaries at many places. A whole academic program’s worth of money, pissed away, In Times of Austerity, on rent-a-cops going after students who dared speak. Nobody behind this should have a career.
The University of Michigan spent $800,000 hiring private investigators--one of whom FAKED A DISABILITY--to surveil anti-genocide protesting students. I'm speechless.
