The morning of November 6, I woke up, wrote a poem, and submitted it to @antiheroinchic.bsky.social. The raw anger rolled from my fingertips, and I left it untouched. This poem is rooted in grief and fear. It’s personal, based on my experiences alone. It’s the quiet parts said aloud. 1/

Something I've noticed now that I'm teaching: You can blow a new writer's mind by letting them in on the secret that writers have no idea what the fuck we're doing, and that when you see writers in movies and TV shows just clickity-clacking away with certainty, that is called fantasy.
