I believe art is about authenticity to oneself. The act of creation is something that's inherent to the human soul. The more connected someone is to their own soul, the more the creation becomes theirs. Conversely, when you take from others to "create," you are actively unbecoming yourself.

I tried to learn a new skill today, but ended up giving myself a stress headache LOL. The inner turmoil of making things with my hands for a living but witnessing those same hands get lost in translation handling a different medium is certainly frustrating, but I'm resolved to try again tomorrow! 😤

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.
