Same tree. One side gets sun, the other does not. The dark red and gold side screams fall. The side on the shade almost looks like spring petals in white and pink. Sometimes it's important to step away from your desk and actively seek out the beauty around you. #fall

There are protests to march, weights to lift, laundry to be done, markets to be visited and a list of chores that clamor for my attention. But my lilacs have about a week left and the sun is never promised. So here I sit. #caturday #lilacs #ProtectYourPeace

Exhausted after walkies. Basil was out for the count fast, didn't even let me remove his harness. Jack just snoozed for 5 and was ready to go again.

I'm feeling weirdly positive today. I mean I acknowledge that the world is a flaming dumpster fire - I'm just not letting it stop me from roasting some marshmallows in the flames. Ya know?
