Despite being American citizens, three children — a 4-year-old boy with Stage 4 kidney cancer, his 7-year-old sister and a 2-year-old girl — were detained with their families by immigration authorities in Louisiana and quickly sent to Honduras, according to a lawsuit.
ICE sent 3 U.S. citizen children, including boy with cancer, to Honduras with their deported moms
An immigration group filed a lawsuit on behalf of two families, saying they were not given access to legal counsel before two mothers and their children were sent to Central America.

Seems like F/A-XX nightmare continues under recent HASC FY26 NDAA markup. F/A-XX gets about $74M. The program is also getting $750M in the recently passed reconciliation bill. However, both of these combined are well below the spending plans under the Biden Admin, which called for $2.2B in FY26.

Seems like the US Navy will not be buying any of its new Constellation-class frigates in FY26. Big hit for the program.

Hegseth and co could never do what they are doing to the Army to the Air Force, Navy or Marines. These cuts are so nonsensical but the Army has brain dead leaders so they will not oppose these cuts. Turns out failed PLs should never be in any positions of power.

Let's go on a humble rant about a controversial frigate: The Constellation-class

So first off, no it's not a pile of garbage, and the GAO reports for the record have been extremely negative and not really constructive for some reason (political maybe?)

Now I'm not here to talk about its history. Instead let's talk about how this could augment the USN.
