So I have been absent on social media because I have been feeling burned out and overwhelmed AF. This has been causing me real doubt and tanking my creative juices with what little time I have between working, school, and health. I'm trying to be around, but everything feels like a huge chore.

I think my favorite thing about umamusume is that it's cute anime girls that don't HAVE to fit into the same old trite tropes from other anime genres. Really appreciate Gold Ship who is just wild and Sakura Bakushin O who definitely has ADHD. None of the girls have to be cutesy & it's so refreshing.

I feel like there’s this prominent belief that if you picked a fun career, you deserve consequences that will even out the misery of the job market. Like there’s this weird karma argument that requires folks in creative fields to be underpaid and uninsured and only briefly employed.
