My belief right now is that the LLM models actually haven't gotten better, just bigger. More processing and minor tweaks to cover inaccuracy.

I think it's important to give the right things oxygen and simply ignore the wrong things. A lot of these companies and lobbies are banking on your outrage engagement to amplify their narratives.

Just. As an avowed gAI hater, this isn't happening. The tech is good at motion tracking but not capable of anything close to the level of... anything you need to do actor replacement. They will continue to put out these vapid showreels to raise funds.
