So weepy lately. I work incredibly hard. My newish boss asked me if I could push a little harder.
I can’t. I can recommend that they stop understaffing on purpose. We should have had double or triple the number of people this morning to accomplish that which she wanted.

Today, a woman came to self-checkout. She didn’t know that SNAP benefits were stopped by 47. She only had enough cash for 1/2. Someone paid the rest and gave her lunch. They had just gotten take out and they shared.
She wept. She wept because the country failed her. She is trying so hard.

I made a comment in response to a post by a reporter. It was not offensive at all. I got a response saying that wasn’t what he was thinking of. I was having a conversation with everyone including him. I guess he found me inappropriate. That’s the 2nd time. First on Twitter now here. That hurt.
