If enough time passes, an otherwise healthy person can start to get used to sickness.

This perfectly sums up how I feel…
I visited Auschwitz 20+ years ago and that visit still has a hold on me to this day. A very sobering experience that we can’t let these horrors repeat themselves.
Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.
This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
Auschwitz took time.

Did you know: If you are a NY resident, you can get a library card for your own local library, PLUS the NY Public Library, Brooklyn, AND Queens libraries? Put their online library systems to work for you. Tell Amazon to shove it.
