I actually managed to finish making stock at a reasonable hour today so that it's on the counter cooling enough to go in the fridge at like 7:00 rather than starting that process at 11:00 lol. I really ought to get up and just get the cleanup done with but I don't wanna.

It's so weird w new cat because even though I can see her (& she is roughly the same length/height) I forget that she is somehow a lot more dense then old cat. old cat was made entirely of balsa wood bones, tendons that were like those little rubber bands you get on your braces, fluff, and spite.

I am relieved to report that the chocolate peanut butter porter that I got on sale at Aldi is not bad! It tastes like a porter and a peanut butter scratch and sniff sticker had a baby but in a tolerable way.

oh hey, The extremely reasonably priced ($20) and very nicely working so far (for the 2 months I've had it) aldi vacuum sealer is back around at Aldi this week earlier than I expected. And if you're thinking of getting one it's really worth it. especially with grocery prices going how they are,
