here's a tip for avoiding doomscrolling if you like. this is going to vary widely by phone but on my Samsung there's this extra battery saver mode you can choose, where it turns off a lot of background processes and you can only pick a couple of apps to be on the screen. It only takes about

I actually managed to finish making stock at a reasonable hour today so that it's on the counter cooling enough to go in the fridge at like 7:00 rather than starting that process at 11:00 lol. I really ought to get up and just get the cleanup done with but I don't wanna.

It's so weird w new cat because even though I can see her (& she is roughly the same length/height) I forget that she is somehow a lot more dense then old cat. old cat was made entirely of balsa wood bones, tendons that were like those little rubber bands you get on your braces, fluff, and spite.
