In the long run, all the culture war b.s. will just be part of a long list of check boxes that need to be marked off to shed the old order of history. We went through it in the 1890s-20s. We went through it in the 1830s-50s, and we went through it in the 1740s-70s. This will be no different.

As a person who has dealt with the fallout from mental illness since his childhood, it really pissed me off to see John Fetterman on TV try to use it as an excuse for his abhorrent behavior. Fetterman not only went full right-wing, but he is also known to have been a piece of shit to staff members.

China always makes the same economic mistake. Overbuild to flood the global market, then they end up saturating the market so much that it ends up backfiring. Same thing with their building boom post 09

For those frustrated with Schumer for caving, it's important to note that his decision, along with the eight other troglodytes, is about addressing a political issue for Donald Trump—something they had no interest in resolving.

But hey, don't let people's lives get in the way of your opportunism.

I broke my teeth on this movie as a young pup. For all its camp, this movie was eerily prophetic about a lot of the trends in society both then and now.

It is too bad that out of the 40 million users on Bluesky that we can't get at least half those people together to make for a noisy voting bloc. We could literally change elections and hold politicians to account if we did learn how to organize the tens of millions of us on this platform.

Due to Cowards like Schumer and King, the only lesson Donald Trump has taken away from this shutdown is to just hold out and make the pain felt as long as you can, before these vacillating old men come running for me to help them again.

I hate the fucking Democrats. Fucking cowardly old men.

Note: A crash is coming. It is a matter of when, not if. When one industry accounts for over half of your economic growth, and it is taking part in circular finance, then you are setting the economy up to fail.

I wish I could take a poll on here to ask my comrades would they end the shutdown today if it meant the filibuster was gone, or would they rather continue to support extending the ACA subsidies no matter what? For me, it is a tricky one because in the long run, ending the Filibuster will do Trump in

I have made a decision to remind people of the basic F'd up metrics of this economy daily.

Today's F'd up metrics are as follows:

Since 1990, the average cost of a car has gone up 42-380 % depending on the brand.

Since 1990, the median cost of a house has gone up by 280 %

Food for thought: Since 1990, cumulative food prices in America have increased by 154%.

Since 1990, the average wage growth in America has been somewhere in the ballpark of 25-36 %.

The entire economic and governmental system has failed the majority of Americans as far as I am concerned.

In 28, if we do get a dem in the White House, we are going to have to show years of patience towards them and almost consider their first term a mulligan just due to how much damage we will have to fix after King Cankles Mcgee shuffles off.

One has to love that instead of hearing the words, the people in the room are screaming at them, the GOP screams fraud or election interference anytime they lose. This, in the long run, will prove to be their undoing, as it has been since King Cankles Mcgee Esquire came down that escalator.
