Even as far as Partner Showcases go…that Direct was extremely weak. It’s been said a hundred times by now but it’s all ports and things we already knew about. I get all those games have an audience but…this doesn’t instill confidence in the Switch 2’s future.

2. Arknights Endfield
I’m…probably not the target audience for this one. I love the character designs but the gameplay loop just does nothing for me. Add on top that it’s a gacha and it’s probably best I just move on. May play every once in a while but won’t be long term.

1. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
This was one I’d been wanting to play for years, but could never get the motivation to emulate it. Easily one of the best in the series, and I’ve played all the western releases except its sequel Radiant Dawn. Which…yeah I have to emulate that now don’t I?

I’ve finally rolled credits on Legends Z-A. I had my problems with the game for sure, but overall…it’s fun! Not quite what I was hoping an Arceus sequel would be but fun nevertheless. Hopefully next time we get to go back to open zones.

I’m a few hours into Donkey Kong Bananza and just…wow. It’s a spiritual successor to Mario Odyssey while still being its own thing and it’s just…so fun! Can’t wait to play more tomorrow!

Played a couple hours of Persona 5: The Phantom X tonight and…I have thoughts. I’ll have to play more to really form an opinion though…as true to its origin, even two hours in I haven’t even left the tutorial.

One of my biggest problems with $80 games is that, at the end of the day, games are supposed to be fun. If I feel like I have to justify my purchase? That isn’t fun to me.

It’s crazy that just 24 hours ago, my hype for Switch 2 was at an all time high…and now it’s just completely plateau’d. Like come on Nintendo you had ONE job…

Having a lot of fun starting Atelier Yumia in full tonight. Chose to play on PC despite Koei Tecmo’s history with the platform…but that’s where I’ve played all my Ateliers so far…and as of yet the game seems to work great.

Ive now beaten the main story to Xenoblade Chronicles DE. I had fun, my main concern going in was combat didn’t look interesting but I was proven wrong almost immediately. The side quests though…boy what were they thinking with those? Way too many and not nearly enough incentive to do em.

Spent a few hours tonight playing the Atelier Yumia demo on Steam. I spent most of that time playing with the synthesis system and I think I’ve got it about figured out now.

So after years of putting it off and going back and forth, I finally started Xenoblade Chronicles DE. And…yeah…yeah it’s pretty good…

Well, I finally checked out/finished Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Spectacular is still the better show overall, but this one’s pretty good itself. I’d like it way more if they dropped the CG and went all in on the 2D animation but I guess we can’t win em all. Give it a watch if you can.

I have not uploaded something to YouTube in like, 5 years. Was not aware the YouTube studio now has a section where an AI brainstorms video ideas for your channel and creates thumbnails. Like what the hell is this shit!?
