Deathstate is a roguelike bullet hell that was released 10 years ago this week by a tiny team at a tiny game studio in WNY. Not only was it way before it's time but it deserved way more attention than it got. Vampire Survivors fans, check this out! #gamedev

Is this seriously a concern nowadays? As far back as I can remember it's always been cool as shit to uncover some obscure art or music or movie that completely blows your mind open. When has it ever mattered that other people don't know or like it? What is happening lol
I think some people are also scared to explore outside mainstream art because they might encounter something they fall in love with, but no one they know likes it. They don't want to be embarrassed or cringe or whatever by being the outsider.

Wish I could make the shitty art I want to make and experience self-actualization while also being able to afford rent/food/shit I enjoy that makes life worth living (live music, substances, gifts for friends, fashion) Anyone know where this is possible without selling your soul for 8 hours a day?:D
