Apparently it’s International Day of People With Disabilities today.

So with that in mind, here’s one in particular who is truly loved by me, her mother, her little family and anyone lucky enough to know or meet her ❤️
Seamus Culleton who has a work permit for the US and has his own business there, has been locked up by the Trump regime for a number of months now.
Was given a choice between deportation (he is married to a US citizen) and detention, and chose the latter as he is settled there.

This is how thick you have to be in order to support the MAGA way of thinking.
It’s almost a prerequisite. Like the opposite of an aptitude test.
This ethnicist arrogant know-nothing needs a geography and history lesson.

I see Ian McKellen is trending for a monologue he did iff the cuff on TV.
Always reminds me of his appearance on ‘Extras’ whenever his acting is discussed.
Let him explain why himself…😆

Could all those Welsh and Scottish Twitter ‘experts’ in recent years have been wrong about Italy having had enough chances in 6 Nations all along?

I’ve been to an absolute heap of games in Rome and a Pearl Jam gig. Every time it’s been 20-21C and glorious.
Invite the Scots over and it rains like Co. Mayo*

I remember saying to a pal before, imagine what it would have been like years ago if there was social media.
Well, the brainless out-half debate currently ensuing between tribes paints a picture what it would exactly have been like.

Bananas.

Jesus, that Barnardo’s Ireland ad absolutely hits me in the gut every time.
The work they do is stellar.
What an organisation ❤️

Never be in any doubt as to what Trump the felonious, treasonous, murderous, multiple-draft-dodging, morally bankrupt serial bankrupt who surrendered to the Taliban stands for.

This is not a fake screenshot. This is literally the regime, posting out loud.
Disgusting.

On social and in media, there’s a plethora of podders, bloggers and pundits who plainly haven’t a clue about rugby union, all desperate for attention with either absolute bunkum or obvious second-hand soundbites.

Be choosy who you read or follow.
Be very choosy.

I was asked for a snippet of advice for a friend of mine’s company newsletter on people/team management.

Summed up, it went like this…

‘If a member of your team is struggling with targets and/or workload, don’t send them on a fucking time management course - look at the targets and workload!’

According to Reporters Without Borders, in 2025, Ireland was ranked 7th in the world for freedom of the press.

The United States was ranked 57th.

So we’ll be taking no complaints about censorship from US politicians, thanks.

28 years ago today, Pearl Jam released ‘Yield’.
Great album and its songs are still amazing live these day.
I remember heading to the local record store, Byron Bay Sound Waves, to buy this $32 pre-ordered copy like it was (all those) yesterday(s) ❤️

David Walsh's objective and empathic article on the state of Welsh rugby union asks more questions than answers, as do its interviewees. That's because it is such a woeful, deflating predicament right now.

Wales is a proud rugby nation lost in hurt and confusion. What now?
As Ospreys fans protest amid fears that club will be forced to close, former Wales players Alun Wyn Jones and Anthony Buchanan worry for game’s future in principality
