Apparently it’s International Day of People With Disabilities today.

So with that in mind, here’s one in particular who is truly loved by me, her mother, her little family and anyone lucky enough to know or meet her ❤️

Lovely ball from Will Jacks getting Scotty Boland shows how wrong both Aussie and England (and allegedly Wales) got it wrong by leaving out spinners for an SCG test.

A cretin like Trump - he really is a cretin - would think that grandiose narcissism is a good thing. The biggest and best narcissism.
Just like he thinks asylum seekers are people who have escaped from psychiatric hospitals.
That’s what makes him so valuable to Putin and why he wants NATO dusted.

I’m not big into this sphere in any way but I have spent on new releases some time ago and given up when stuck because…well, life’s just too damn short.
Yes, I’m looking at you ‘Call of Duty WWII’…

Interesting take. In my experience, almost everyone I know who left has come back.
I could not wait to get out of Ireland in the 80s. I worked out of country during summers then once college done, did things as I pleased, living in a few places, becoming Aussie citizen in process. Returned in 2005.

Sacha Baron Cohen called out what would happen in the USA with charlatans in power more than a decade ago in his movie, 'The Dictator'.
Has the treasonous, murderous, felonious Trump regime down to a tee.
Only bit he misses out on is Trump's surrender to the Taliban.

England (and allegedly Wales) Ashes series summed up in one moment.

That’s just piss poor for the apparent best XI out of 18, yes EIGHTEEN, professional club sides.

Will probably get away with a draw this test but boy, do that lot have to do some internal reflecting, starting at the top.

TG4 showing ‘Moneyball’ right now.
Along with ‘A League of Their Own’, you’ve two of the best sports movies ever made.
Just love them.

Obviously there is a copious amount of single-panel cartoons slating the hegemony of the Trump regime, but for me, this is the best so far.

Back of the net, as they say.

Zuckerbook is throwing up some annoying stuff on my timeline. Bilge like ‘Songs better than their originals’, ‘You can only keep one’.
Relented this evening, looking into this for a laugh.
The number of people still giving out about The Sopranos finale proves David Chase is a genius.
It was great.

The kind of person thick and evil enough to vote for any of the Trump regime is the kind of person who would not see the deep irony in each lie this lot spouts.

Phil Lynott is gone from us 40 years today.
A shame he had those struggles.

My Dad was a guitarist in his first band, The Black Eagles. They were all just young scuts back then.

Nobody likes the fines or points. Nobody. Doesn't matter if it's €160 fine plus 3 points or €500 fine with 6 points.
The only thing road users fear is being caught in the first place.
They only do these things because they feel there's a likelihood they won't be.

I have a dark sunburst Custom '59 Les Paul, Nashville-made, and a lovely blue Ventera II Fender Strat.
As a leftie, they were a challenge to find, and I love them.

However great my guitars are, it's a legend like the late great Jeff Beck who lets me know my place ♥️

"Oh, visited by thoughts and not just in the night
That I no longer give a fuck who is wrong and who's right", sang Eddie Vedder on 'Wreckage'.

Well, I hope that's no longer the case. Can't just sit waiting for November midterms. The Trump regime certainly won't be.

No coincidence that it's when David Crosby was still alive either. You can imagine the phone calls and conversations between him and Neil Young when 'Living With War' was being sculpted.

Really interesting article on the locations used in filming David Lynch’s ‘The Elephant Man’.

Amazing that this movie, ‘Frances’, ‘The Fly’, ‘84 Charing Cross Road’ and ‘My Favourite Year’ were all Mel Brooks productions.

This doesn’t come across as explicitly backing anything, in my view.
Keir Starmer explicitly backs Trump's attack on Venezuela.

Says he has "long supported" getting rid of Maduro, who is an "illegitimate President" and "we shed no tears about the end of his regime".
