Just watched this video from @hankgreen.bsky.social and it confirms what I knew. Big Corn is on to us. TLDR: instead of turning off the faucet while brushing teeth it's probably more valuable to stop eating meat. (Even though this shit shouldn't be on us to begin with.)

Once scattered, a soul returned to nothingness. That wasn’t the true heart of it though. The heart, the thing that ate at Death’s own soul–if he even had one–was that all they once were was now gone. The record of their existence dissipated, and this was a loss that Siris could not abide.

Up late playing Oxenfree II and the amount of lore I need to remember from one is kinda killing me. A recap comic would've been nice, and also SLIGHTLY faster walking speed. Well, I've been here for 13ish hours so it's not like I'm going anywhere I guess.

I was reminded that yesterday I was chatting with @hypatiasangst.bsky.social about the musical vibe of Carnelia Vale and how vehemently I oppose the idea of generic tavern music. So in the end, we ended up with Enya and Nier Automata. Somehow this is better lol

I guess I should actually talk about Carnelia? It's dragons. I wanted to write a #TTRPG that's for everyone. Newcomers, younger players, all and everyone. Nothing should be inaccessible at the table, and character creation shouldn't take two hours. If you want high fantasy, I will give it to you.

I was on a great reading streak, but then I got to a book I really struggled with and lost all momentum. Oddly enough it the sequel trilogy to a series I really enjoyed, but it so heavily referenced the previous sequel I couldn't keep up. Any thoughts how to get my groove back?

Because there's a person behind the persona, and I'm not just an author/aspiring artist 24/7... I gave a really huge presentation at work today and it was awesome. I might not have a "routine" or a specific "time I create" but this cadence brings me joy. And what is art without joy?

Finally out of my outline and wrote 350 words today of an actual novel. It's insane to get back to it but I'm enjoying the process and along for the ride. Might switch back and forth with my other projects. How about you guys? Do you work on one thing at a time or flit around as you desire?
