Overall, I like my office job. But I'll never get used to these little hidden etiquette rules that I don't even know exist until I inadvertently break them.
Like the time I got "spoken with" because I put someone in the "to" section rather than simply CC them.

We're supposed to get between 1-5 inches of snow tonight. We live in a city that frequently sees snow in the winter, so this amount of snow shouldn't be an issue for the most part (unless of course, it's coming down at a particularly high rate) and yet, especially since it's a holiday...

Man, I can't recall the last time I got to sleep for eight hours. It was broken up twice, but I was back to sleep within a few minutes each time, so imo, it still counts.
I'm lucky to get four or five hours before I'm stuck awake anymore.

I want to use my two spare smart plugs to run my Christmas lights in my house but they refuse to connect to the wifi and it's infuriating because I had no trouble getting the one to connect to the wifi and now I'm just gonna use run-on sentences until I either run out of space here or figure it out.

Granted, I haven't had to pay for gas since July (thanks to double perks b/c Tim still works for the company I left...wow, over three years ago now) but I find it delightful that I haven't even dropped $100 on gas for my new car yet, and I bought it in March.

I will forever be baffled by people who think it's ok to stop dead in the middle of the road to "let through" someone who is waiting for the road to clear at a stop sign.

I can understand at my job that if I take two weeks off, most of my work will still be there waiting for me upon my return. Aside from the bills, most of my work isn't super time-sensitive. (And usually, nobody will bother paying the bills while I'm out anyway...
