Yesteady a colleague I hadn’t spoken to in a while, once a Reagan Republican, called me asking to explain why the Comey indictment had gone the way it did. He’s an ex-AUSA too. Why would they do it this way and not the right way, he was asking. There must be a strategic explanation.

I’m about halfway through watching a 30 year old fight of one of my teammates who was much much better than me. As in ranked number one in her weight class and someone I used to spar with. Is it weird I’m thinking how did I not die?
