Watched Eternity. And I am totally overthinking this, but this thing we do now where the afterlife or other larger than life concepts are given shape as a corporate world was funny at first, and I’m wondering if we’re not overdoing it now. Maybe it’s having a limiting effect on our imagination

I very much want to do a Manben style thing where I’d ask creators to film themselves working on something from start to finish and we discuss it together and get it on YouTube or something. But I’ve no idea if other creators would be into that. 👀

I actually discovered cool things from this list!
I talked with creators and industry folks like @lianakangas.com, @juniba.bsky.social, @patrickhorvath.bsky.social, @badmachinery.com, and @geauxta.bsky.social about what stood out from 2025 in comics, and it was a lovely mix of cool comics, community, new readers, and more.
It was a wild year in comics, so to kick off my end of the year coverage, I talked with creators and industry folks like @cliffchiang.bsky.social, @jazzlynstone.bsky.social, @iamdavidbrothers.com, and more about the year and what stood out from the world of comics.
