Someone inquired about my ethnicity. When told that I am Filipinx, in disbelief they gasped and said "stop!!"

My work is so heavily censored on social media. Bsky flagged this for “nudity” and for being “sxually suggestive”.

First off, I support erotic art and sx work, so I disagree with this being a problem.

A 23 yo said that they feel old, and honestly, I get it. I have felt old since I was 12.

Feeling old translates to ‘I don’t have enough time left’ or ‘I’ve wasted the time I’ve had.’ There are a lot of expectations for us but the world’s conditions are too hostile for us to hit all the marks (1/2)

My wacom tablet was donated to me used. I suspected that my pen was faulty, but had nothing to compare it to. I took it apart and put it back together. It worked better for a while, until it didnt. I got a replacement, and its SO much easier to draw now. I spent 120+ hours drawing in HARD MODE.

Maturing as an illustrator is realizing that what you consider your ‘finished’ work is what a better artist would only consider a ‘sketch’. But speaking as a tattoo artist, an illustration isn’t complete until it’s a tattoo 😜

Currently reading a Sci Fi novel co authored by Keanu Reeves and China Mieville. I know of Mieville through his political writings on the October Revolution in Russia, and of course I know of Reeves through my favorite childhood movie, Speed, as well as his feature in the video game Cyberpunk 2077
