“Muslims worship Muhammed. Jesus, he has risen! They, they worship a dead guy.” The Islamophobia in the early 90's was subtle at Willow Creek, a non-denominational mega church. It slipped through in moments like this. Muhammed was a prophet, like Moses, not God, but this made a good sound bite.
