Couldn't sum up better how I feel about today! 👏👏👏
Here’s a reflective mash-up of “White Cliffs of Dover” & “Over the Rainbow” we made about VE Day and where we’re at 80 years on. Dedicated to Great Grandad (DFC as an RAF pilot, 619 Squadron, Lancasters) - his favourite saying was "the price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

If publishing actually wants more working class writers, more POC writers, more trans writers, more disabled writers, more *any* marginalised writers, the solution is really simple:

PAY THEM.

Give writers enough money to live and they'll give you all the words you want.

Please support your local bookshop. They're the ones who support writers and writing. As a writer on a small-but-mighty independent press, the word-of-mouth goodwill at local bookshops has made my writing career possible.
