Just reread a book from a high school English class and boy did I entirely misremember the ending. As in, not only did I misremember it but I actually thought the complete opposite events happened compared to what actually happened...

"Didn't the technofascists learn anything from Star Wars or Tolkien or other mass media" no because those are not parables and that is not how people learn how to be people. The chance of catching an antifascist subtext in mass-appeal fantasy is pretty low unless you've acquired those ideas already.

this might be my most controversial post yet, but I need to defend the "cheeseburger with no cheese" strategy of ordering. As someone who, throughout my life, has had a strong distaste for cheese on burgers due to the texture as well as a general particularity with the kind of cheese I like (1/3)

I played #Undertale about 3 years after it came out and it left me with such a hopeful and cozy feeling inside that I don't know if I've experienced w/ a game since. I wanted to make something for the 10th anniversary, but my skills aren't where I want them to be yet.

it's always so weird looking up a famous person's height and finding out they're kinda short. especially when it's someone who gives tall person energy. Like Margot Robbie is 5' 6" and thatdoesn't feel right
(I'm aware 5' 6" is above average for women but I really thought she was at least 5' 9")
