What’s become clear to me is how MAGA is essentially a new religion with Trump as its leader/savior. Think about it, the core belief of most religions is that we can’t understand the divine and just trust the leader.
It also makes it easier to understand why there are so many atheists.

- disaffected and radicalized white males with access to guns
- white male youth pastors
- white male clergy members
- white male adjudicated rapists
- white men who have paid women not to tell their stories of being sexually assaulted
