Terminating the jobs of 100 employees of a late night host’s TV show seems a fair and reasonable response to the host’s 32 poorly-chosen words. It’s only three lost incomes per word.

The White House condemns “the left” for criticizing South Park when it offended woke sensibilities but praising SP now that it has savaged potus47 in the new season opener. Apparently they’ve never heard the saying, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” It’s just that simple.

Someone needs to let Bill Maher know that “videotaping” got replaced by “filming” back when video cameras were replaced by cell phones. Twice in one New Rules rant (tellingly, against people 50 years younger than he is).

Criticism of leaders is not allowed. You speak badly of leader, you go out window. Metaphorically – for now.

This EO will punish those who "kill and assault government officers" LIKE THE PEOPLE HE PARDONED and who damage memorials to Black soldiers LIKE THE "DEI" HISTORIES ERASED BY OTHER EOs. Most important, it mentions "demonstrations" and "noise" — in advance of mass protests planned for DC.

Not a historian, but to my knowledge, this is the first time a sitting US Senator — or member of Congress, generally — or perhaps any senior US gov’t official — has included an f-bomb in an official press release.

Canada can't use the main door on the U.S. side, and Canadians have to show a passport to cross a line on the floor. Sounds like childhood "my side of the car seat" stupidity, but this is the building where Kristi Noem chanted "USA #1" and "Canada 51st state" while crossing that line in January.
