I know a bit about where this is heading but it’s fascinating and frightening to read how a moral panic unfolds.

Morning bike and swim. The water in Albro Lake was at 24 C this morning. This seems warm for lake water in Dartmouth at this stag of the season. I wonder how long the bacterial count will be in the recommended zone….

Went to see Met’s Carmen at Cineplex. Carmen is crushed by a baseball bat swung by Don Jose to end her life, her relationship with someone else and the opera. Great music, production (set in near to current time period), musical actors and performers but troubling story for today’s times.

It won't tell you that because of the lack of the Coastal Protection Act, a guy a kilometre down the shore hardened his property, resulting in currents that erodes away your land WHICH WOULDN'T HAD OTHERWISE FLOODED, even with sea level rise.
