A reminder that when Frida Kahlo accompanied Diego Rivera to Detroit where he was to paint a major mural series, a local journalist described her as the muralist's wife who "dabbles" in art. Frida shot back: "Of course, he does pretty well for a little boy, but it is I who am the big artist."
