One thing I've loved to do the last few years is curate a weekly music playlist for the team, I call Spotifriday. Here's one I put together recently. Enjoy ❤️

I like to reframe the sensationalist "SEO is dead" BS as, "I helped three small businesses launch their company/website and achieve their dreams while you're still over here debating that SEO is dead or PHP is a dead language." A lot of it is clickbait, but helps keep focus on what's important.

The issue is with the WooCommerce code running on PHP >= v8.1. Passing a null value in strpos() was deprecated in that version. Temporary solution is to make the code fix noted in the article until WooCommerce adds a permanent fix.

Technical debt is easy to incur. It's unnecessary added features, undocumented code, support for outmoded interactions and anything that slows down your ability to update and upgrade your work. Tech debt is the combination of doing what feels right at the time, in a hurry, and then having to maintain it and understand it going forward. Vibe coding, which is a rising trend, pairs a human programmer with an AI like chatGPT.

Ah, the <center> tag. A relic of the past, deprecated, and still found in many websites today.

Netscape introduced the tag back in 1996. That means the <center> tag was around closer to the moon landing than to today's date 😬

Nothing better than taking a minimalist approach code-wise. Very nice work ❤️
Making a full-on star rating component out of nothing but a single input and vanilla CSS. You know, the kind of stuff that @css-only.dev is so good at.

This is just one approach — he's going to share another one next week. 🤓
