Last night, Damien Roy introduced us to Sevun’s modular telescope. Despite the terrible weather, we were able to appreciate the ingenuity of their system. And to top it all off, it’s French technology! 🇫🇷

On the road to capture the sky! It’s the last cloudless night of my vacation and before the next full moon. Ready to immortalize the LBN 576 nebula before the clouds return… 🤩

Currently, I’m trying to capture the LBN 576 nebula, a fascinating supernova remnant. If you’re only seeing stars right now, that’s totally normal, the signal is super faint in this part of the sky! Stay tuned for more.

Yesterday afternoon, I tested the Acuter Optics ST 40/400 Elite Phoenix for solar observation in H-alpha. The image was exceptionally sharp, clearly displaying solar details and prominences. This telescope offers outstanding performance at an affordable price.

While I’m busy capturing the stunning Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888) under the night sky, here’s a tasty “croissant” to help you pass the time! 🥐☕

Stay tuned for the real cosmic show – coming soon!

All ye astronomy afficionados out there....I doubled the time on the O-III layer for NGC6888. I like the "soapy envelope" look of the OIII engulfing the hdyrogen that's being expelled by the Wolf-Rayet star. #Astrophotography 🔭📷.

I'm sure @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social will solve this in a breeze.
