This sucks because of the danger, and because Radpower is probably going out of business, so not sure if it's worth replacing the battery. Love our Radrunner Plus, made my gf a bike rider, got 5 years/ 8k+ miles out of it, and now it's probably bricked.

Red sky at morning #photography
The underside of a low layer of morning clouds glows red fading to purple from the still to rise sun, reflected in the water of Portage Bay. @greenwell.bsky.social's Bad Company isn’t exactly a beach read. In fact, as someone whose life was upended by private equity (RIP Mervyn’s) it was kind of a hate read, but not because the book is bad, (it is excellent, see below) but because PE is bad. So very, very bad. . . (long thread)

Every time the police show up at my door saying “We have security footage of you shoplifting from Target again”, the 1st thing I feel is anger & rage, it's like I’m being bullied. Sometimes I carry a few things out of the store w/o paying. Never more than $25 of stuff. I'm not a habitual shoplifter.
