Watched Char's Counterattack for the first time and man that is the first Gundam thing I watch that I just straight up disliked.
Terrible pacing, lots of information you just have to accept and not think about, overall poor plot.
The Sazabi is fucking hot though.
Action good also.

I finished Lightning Returns and, with this, I finished every mainline FF except for XI.
Lightning Returns was awesome, it was extremely fun, beating the last two games by a mile. With this, I can finally consider the trilogy worth it.
Very, very glad I gave this a shot.

I finished Lightning Returns and, with this, I finished every mainline FF except for XI.
Lightning Returns was awesome, it was extremely fun, beating the last two games by a mile. With this, I can finally consider the trilogy worth it.

I'm almost upset that, after suffering through the incredibly wasted potential of FFXIII and suffering through ANOTHER wasted potential with FFXIII-2, I am now enjoying Lighting Returns so much. I'm glad that Lightning can have one good game where she has a personality but it's kinda too late now.

It's a game that feels entirely unnecessary but it has a fun job system and the girls are pretty fun at the end of the day.
Entirely unremarkable (and sometimes stupid) for the rest, but I had fun. Glad Yuna's doing well.

I think about this all the time because it became so obvious when people would talk about Evangelion and not understand it, or compare other things to Eva. Anno is so clearly *obsessed* with Mecha, Gundam and Ultraman. To ignore that love is to not understand what deconstruction even means.

Finished Metaphor Refantazio's first dungeon.
I didn't get it up to now.
Now I do and I fear that I won't be safe for a while.
Also I put the game on hard and now it's a real game, I'd recommend doing that if you play lots of JRPGs.

Dawntrail EX3 cleared, super cool fight, not too hard, but it makes me want to tear my eyes out because people CANNOT do Ice Phase worth shit and it's sad to see

Watched the godfather for the first time. Random watch cause why not. Astounded at the shots in this movie, the music, the story and generally at everything about it.
It's a weird thing to watch classics and instantly, within one scene, understand why they are lauded as such.
