Frankly, I don't understand why ,for a group of people with either no health insurance, health card, or stable finances, Filipinos in the human rights / dev sector are so cavalier with their health.

Isn't it ironic na madumi ang daan patungo sa "malinis" na enerhiya?

In 2023, BBM said in a public speech in the 42nd ASEAN Summit that he would "boost" Philippine mineral extraction for "cleaner energy". DENR doubled down on this saying that the PH will explore more nickel mining for clean energy.

Is it really that hard to find common ground to work with as allies amidst on going larger threats of violent fascism??

The youth sector of both unorganized liberals, national democrats, demeocratic socialists, and social democrats need to stop needlessly attacking potential allies.

I can't say if I miss the busy-ness of Filipino Twitter or the huge number of engagements I had back then but I also remember how toxic it was. You can say literally anything there and get cancelled for absolutely the most ridiculous reasons.

Just watched Captain America: Brave New World. I liked the first two acts. Felt like a proper spy movie like the pther Captain America films.

The third act was a bit meh

The fight between Sam and Red Hulk was too short and the ending feels rushed :/

"Kung walang pagmimina walang cellphones."

Una sa lahat, hindi sa Pilipinas ginagawa ang cellphones, at hindi naman yan kinakailangan na galing sa pagmimina sa Pilipinas.

Minerals in the Philippines are EXPORTED. We don't get to use them here. It's sold abroad. Other countries make use of it.

Rep. Edcel Lagman survived the Marcos dictatorship, lost his brother, and endured the scars of that dark era.

He stood against impunity. He stood against shutting down media firms. He stood against summary killings.
