Happy Great Turkey Day!
Every year as a kid I would dutifully cut out a paper hand turkey and tape it to a brown paper grocery bag and hang it on my doorknob on Thanksgiving Eve in the hopes that the Great Turkey would come. I’d arise to find a couple candy bars and a VHS tape of Jurassic Park.🧵

@bsky.app I know people might be a little gun shy about blue checks next to user names due to Elmo just selling them, but can we bring that back so we know which news accounts, gov sites, legit scientists, etc. are legit & have been verified in some form or fashion. Basically like old twitter. Thx
