Another day of dissociating like mad to keep my head in one piece, but at the end of the day, it's in one piece, so that goes in the win column. Coping! 😬

We have all the technology necessary for people to stick their hands into blenders while they're switched on, Sheryl, but there's been no inevitable trends to it because no one pretends it's beneficial or cool and we'd all regard someone encouraging it as dangerous and wrong.

So I'm in trader Joe's and looking at the chocolate, and a little baby parked across the aisle gave me the biggest smile. Made my day. Celebrate the flashes of joy.

Oof. Too accurate.
it's a dying mall. like one anchor store is boarded up and you can see trash in it through a hole and the rest of the mall tries to keep going like everything is fine
I'll probably hang around a little longer on twitter for distribution purposes, but - and I say this as a deranged poster who loves the filth - it feels so utterly joyless. Everyone seems tired and angry.

Fine ideas: nobody gets off the hook. Friends and I refer to him as "Hotel Guy", or "HG".
This what MLK’ s daughter has suggested we do.

Great list.

Missed a bus literally by seconds; I'm standing here fuming, and a huge flock of cackling geese flew over in the darkness, and suddenly it's okay.

Today I got a flu shot at a walk-in clinic and they asked offhandedly if I'd also like a current COVID booster? Oh hell yes, my good man. So my arm hurts but I'm feeling a little safer at school. 👍
