With hindsight, there'll be an explanation by historians and sociologists as to why we went down the authoritarian rabbit hole as a nation. It will be similar to how they describe Germany's decline into Nazism. What will that explanation say? Will we avoid a holocaust level event in the meantime?

When someone says “I don’t like Trump the person, I like his policies, though” the question that comes to mind is “the racist ones, the sexist ones, the ignorant ones or the infantile ones?”

I’ve literally gone a day doing outdoor work or playing outside in summer heat with zero to drink. So a tween/teen/millennial girl toting a 32 oz. Stanley mug everywhere while Christmas shopping in the cold is absolutely mystifying.
