Mailing presents to friends who live in another country is frustrating because you have to list each item and its worth on the customs form that is then attached to the outside of the package, therefore spoiling the gift.

News Alert 🚨 Last week I learned I was elected to be First Vice President of the KY Association of Government Communicators in 2026, which means I’ll serve as President in 2027! Seems appropriate that I received my 5-year service pin today to go along with this announcement.

The majority of tweens I saw on the Angel Tree in Frankfort today are asking for hygiene products for Christmas. Basic needs shouldn’t be any kid’s Christmas wish. It broke me. If you are able, please consider adopting an Angel Tree kid this year.
