Product leader by day. Vibe coder by night.

Claude does the hard bits. I have the ideas.

Manchester. Kids. Strong opinions on toast.
Tech workers raising kids is a weird experience.

We know too much to be relaxed about it and not enough to actually fix it.

Claude Code's WebFetch failed on a page. So it just... tried curl instead. Then explored the HTML. Found the pattern. Wrote the regex.

Watched an AI teach itself web scraping in real time. Took about 90 seconds.

Linus Torvalds is vibe coding guitar pedal software.

I'm vibe coding bin calendars.

We are not the same.

(But also kind of the same.)

Seems legit.

I've had two devices bricked on me in the last 12 months. Spotify killed my Car Thing. Google lobotomised my Nest.

So when Bose announces they're open-sourcing their old speakers instead? Yeah, I noticed.

Been building my own personal knowledge base system. Then watched this from @producttalk.bsky.social - turns out she's running her entire life from two Claude Code terminals.

Validation I didn't know I needed.

Vibe coded a Bluesky MCP server last night. TV on, Claude Code open. Posting this from it.

Someone said every Bluesky MCP on GitHub was broken. Built my own instead of debugging theirs.

Claude Desktop should work too (untested).

Fed my council's bin PDF into Claude. Asked for a calendar file.

Now I get alerts at 8pm with emoji showing which bins to put out.

Peak AI usage tbh.

Got told to rip the ai out of an ai native product I’ve built. Turns the whole thing for beauty into shittery. Still trying to come to terms with the sadness.

I want a Framework Desktop and I want it now.

Someone talk me out of it. Or don't.

Paul Mullin. Wrexham. Surplus to requirements. Stockport County need a proven goalscorer for the run-in.

This is either the best or worst idea I've had today.

A$AP Rocky's new album has Madlib, The Alchemist AND Clams Casino producing.

Lana Del Rey's gone country which sounds cursed but it's LDR so I'll give it a spin.

January might not be completely shit after all.

My kids know what proper music is because I've inflicted 6Music on them since birth.

Jamz Supernova on breakfast this morning absolutely nailed it. MIA, Todd Terje, Alvvays back to back.

This is the parenting hill I'll die on.

Signs you're a product person who actually builds:

1. Your side project folder has 47 abandoned repos
2. You've said "I could build that" at least once today
3. Your better half thinks vibe coding is a cult and Claude is your new best mate
4. You've debugged at 2am "just to see"

How many?

Claude Code now posts to Bluesky for me.

This is post one.

The robots aren't replacing us. They're just handling the boring bits.

Starting with this.

This week, I was lucky to present a demonstration of how LLMs (in this case @v0.dev) are great for product people to take early ideas straight through to launch.

With the help of the room, we created this prototype for pizza ordering in 3 prompts and 15 minutes.
