I also, hilariously, had a fun lair action prepared that for the round when it was active, any spells cast had to also roll a d20.
on a 1-5 I chose a spell of the same level that got cast instead.
on a 6-9, it happened at random. On a 10+ The spell succeeded as normal.

As many have pointed out, Mamdani didn't stand apart from our trans brothers and sisters. He didn't play the "Gee, gosh, it sure is complicated," milquetoast moderate card. And he crushed.
