Are you aware that russia has almost the exact same demands on Ukraine now as they did when they invaded in the first place? (Well, in the second place, the first invasion (this time) was in 2014.)

On the bright side, he makes it very very clear that this is not *his* peace plan, unless it succeeds. So there's apparently not much expectation on his part that it will actually be done.

But has no idea what it actually takes to get one, so he just does his normal grifting instead, but calls it "PEACE". The only thing in the "plan" that isn't straight from the russian demands is that trump gets half the frozen russian assets.

The "28-point plan" was a straight wish-list for russia, except for the fact that the US would get half their frozen assets. It would need a lot more than some fine-tuning to be acceptable to anyone except russia and the US.
But trump is clearly washing his hands of the whole thing, so, meh.

Considering it had been sitting in that spot for almost two years, and in the slot right next to it for several years before that, I'm not sure it was all that important. It didn't have its radar dome mounted, and I'd say it's doubful it could even fly.

The way he has been saying "We are selling weapons to NATO, and they give them to Ukraine. It's a great deal for us." has made that abundantly clear, if the invasion threats against Canada and Denmark didn't give it away already.
