Sheep are not stupid. Pigeons are not stupid. Mice are not stupid. They are perfectly fit for their niche. Only humans are stupid for coming up to other species anthropocentrically. If anything, Triops are so perfect they survived multiple mass extinction events without ever having to change.
Sheep recognize humans by looking at their faces and both sheep and goats prefer to interact with people who are smiling instead of one with a neutral or angry expression! They also carry a map of their home territory in their heads including seasonal availability of of various preferred foods.
