Bootleg Karma is a comedy about a Glaswegian actor faking his death, spending too much time on shite like Elon Musk’s X and deciding to murder people who he thinks deserve a bit of karma. It’s the perfect stocking killer. Available from @razurcutsmag.bsky.social

Rutherglen Library never takes liberties, only its patrons. 😃

My book has been on loan more than on the shelf in this library, more than any other, as far as I can see.

This makes this writer happy.

Libraries are important.

Use them, or lose them.

Well worth a read: a Nivenesque satirical romp through the Hollywood sold, seldom realised, American dream, as viewed through the lens of a drug addled, downtrodden Glaswegian thespian with imposter syndrome with an ever inventive propensity for murder.
My novel Bootleg Karma is a dark comedy about a once Oscar-nominated actor who fakes his death to turn his life around, joins some shite called Twitter and kills time by getting revenge. Published by Razur Cuts Books @razurcutsmag.bsky.so

About 300,000 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced from northern Gaza, and approximately 1,000 housing units have been destroyed since the latest escalation began

2.1 million Palestinians in Gaza are at risk of famine, due to ongoing displacement, war, and the restriction of humanitarian aid
Gaza is Still Burning
While news headlines are increasingly dominated by the nuclear face-off between Israel, Iran, and the US, life remains hellish for displaced families clinging on to the edge of the Gaza City shoreline...

Also, because I think dressing gowns are underappreciated.

This bridge features in my novel, Liberties, as it appears now and the time when the story is set, 1998. It was only more recently that I learned that a veritable Bavarian castle overlooked it until its demolition four years prior to my birth. Glasgow’s disdained cultural reverence knows no bounds.
Of recent times the Art School and Old College Bar spring to mind. Overwhelmingly though, this one:

It’s a pleasure to see your book in the hands of writers whose work you’ve enjoyed and admired. Peter’s novel Liberties is one of the best and most genuine I’ve read about working-class life in Glasgow.

Bootleg Karma is out with Razur Cuts.
