I am so, so tired. And I know you are, too.

Here's “Death blowing bubbles,” 18th century. The bubbles symbolize life's fragility. This plaster work appears on the ceiling of Holy Grave Chapel in Michaelsberg Abbey, Bamberg, Germany. After the monastery’s dissolution, it became a hospital.

Loving the new season of Castlevania, the French revolution is the perfect setting - this time, the aristocrats are literal vampires

I'm visiting Brisbane this weekend to collect some books in storage.

Turns out Lifeline Book Fair is the same weekend.

Chance to do the funniest thing ever.

You did it to yourself. "Eat my words? Why would I do that when I can eat someone else's?" Then you proceeded to eat several first edition books with emerald green covers. It was not a fast death, and tbh you really made it weird

It's hard to get creative time motivation after a day at work - but every little bit helps, so about to do an hour on my latest story - on the enchantress Circe

Finished Penny Blood: Hellbound yesterday - a bit rough but a fun Hades clone. I love the Shadow Hearts games on PS2, and this new franchise from some of the original creators is a welcome return to that unique gothic/goofy tone.

As a teenager I was a huge fan of Grant Morrison's surreal superhero series Doom Patrol - so much so that when it got a big budget TV series, I waited until it finished so I could properly savour it. I'm now a bit into season two and it's brilliant - mainly because of the magnificent actors.
