IMO, what they’ve done with Venom The Duck is how Kabam should go about most hero buffs. That was a fun event. Multi-day, multi-part, and it really took a low-tier champ and made him relevant.
Similarly, nerfs could be handled via nodes or strategic Offensive/Defensive inhibitings.

Went with Photon. Excellent for a lot of content, Nerf safe, but one I was content to keep at R3, but with SpiderWoman’s nerf creating some void in her use, Photon and Nefaria are excellent options to fill the use at a high level.

Honestly, now that EQ is fixed, I enjoy it more than Battlegrounds, and I think its rewards are real nice for the tier I’m in.
Battlegrounds begins as fun, and then is a same hero vs same hero grind.
This allows for deep dives and unique matchups/nodes. EQ is a thumbs up from me now.

Honestly, now that EQ is fixed, I enjoy it more than Battlegrounds, and I think its rewards are real nice for the tier I’m in.

Kabam wants you to spend 1400 units on the chance you don’t end up with 10 sig stones. What the actual fuck is this? There’s like 18 options and like 3-5 are straight trash. Why would I spend for a bankrupt option to get me?

Went with Dark Phoenix… she’ll get blocked in BG often, but that will allow two of R4 Onslaught or Serpent or R3 Enchantress, Bullseye, Zola through.

Ok, with news of SpiderWoman nerf, I’m no longer going to rank Titan heroes to R4 immediately. So, Nico and Samurai are out for now, pending finalization. So, Prowler? Or Fury? Could use an extra Tech or Skill at R4. Photon may get more play now with SW nerf. Medusa always nice.

Pulled The Maker and initially I was disappointed. I had just pulled back to back Falcon dupes from latest Titan and Maker came next so overall, I was pretty upset. But Maker holds a lot of value for Wars. Zola, Onslaught, Jean, and I’ll test out a few others. Can’t be blocked this season.

I’m warming up on pulling The Maker. I’ve tested him vs some tough matchups and he’s a nice counter for them. Should be a nice piece for types of fights and nodes.

Wanted to 100% Classic to see how miserable it was. Not awful. Fights are mostly long unless you have a stupid broken champ in a stupid broken matchup (Tigra on Mystic paths; Onslaught vs Mr Knight - heavy at end of his Heavy/Sp1 easily). MVPs Jean, SpiderWoman, Red Skull, Okoye, Galan, Tigra.

If Adaptive EQ is leaving, Kabam should realistically scale back their bullshit Prestige racket.
Top-10 Champs, Top-10 Relics, Tenure in the game, and collection of content titles. Prestige should not just be champ based. Accomplishments should factor in. Tenure should factors in.

Man… 10 years, 8 R4s, 46 R3 7* and I lost 6k in my prestige… I have several top-15 prestige R2s awaiting rank up to R3. Silver Surfer, White Tiger, Bullseye, The Leader, Negasonic… I’ll only be missing OG Ironman from the top-15 7* in prestige.
