At the London Leica gallery, it's the last few days of Joel Meyerowitz's London pics with their EV1 - ends on the 6th.

@rogerprotz.bsky.social Reading your Camra article on Jennings's revival, you mention they originated in Lorton. Well, the old brewery was split into the pink cottages here - Corner, Nutshell and Yan Yak (one oak in Cumbrian, I think). A little local detail to mull over with a Snecklifter!

In Photoshop beta - using Generative Fill which can now call Google's "Nano Banana" AI model.

All I did was select the pic and type "Make this look like a sunny day and add deep blue skies and fluffy clouds".

The blue isn't great, but after 33 years using Photoshop, I can fix that the old way...

Not wanting to wait till the road's cleared, it's a quick walk to a junction and a different bus. 100m later a Tesla whacks into the side (probably not vice versa).

Walked the rest of the way.

So after the taxi hit the Lime bike (or vice versa) this morning....

The bus home is due in a minute, until a car is let through a line of traffic to turn right and there's a big clunk as it collides with a motorcyclist (or vice versa).

“I wasn’t looking”

Says me, who heard a noise ahead and looked u to see the Lime biker rider falling to the ground.

“You weren’t looking”

Says the Lime bike rider to the taxi driver who’d just turned left.

As does the taxi driver to the Lime bike rider.

Me, I’d happily blame both.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/... A few times on my bus home yesterday, I noticed what must be this train stopped in an odd spot. But aren't folk ingenious?

I was wondering why no Spitfires were in Monday's flypast, but one landed along Farringdon Road over the weekend and was hidden in the Deloittes car park before being wheeled up Ludgate Hill before dawn. ;)

I was hooked simply by the idea of a soap opera scriptwriter who got paid by the kilo, in Aunt Julia and the Scriptwriter. RIP Mario Vargas Llosa.

£24 for the show today? I'm sure the site said £18 yesterday. Really don't like being treated like that + that £6 is almost as much as the thing I had in mind to buy!

Wrote up something about Techdirt's recent coverage, and why (whether we like it or not) we need to be a "democracy blog" now, rather than just a "tech" blog (not that we've ever been just a tech blog).

This story is *the* story and it impacts everything else.
