I feel insecure about the quality of my output as much as anyone but also it's guaranteed comedy when someone on social media gets so angry at you they resort to trashing your work because it's obvious they're being a forced hater to justify being mad.

And to this point - this is why I still weirdly respect Crypton as vsynth devs even if the overall quality of their output doesn't scale.
It means we're in a diverse industry where different companies are interpreting the AI boom with different strategies over differing paces.

Assuming that Miku V6 is a "plus bank" of sorts (AI bank that uses artificial data), it seems that between V6 and NT2, Crypton want to try a more unconventional approach to AI synthesis where AI plays a role but is not the entire crux of their output.

Still not finished OUAK yet because it is so much longer than I anticipated it being (I think I'm halfway through at 15 hours???), but if it keeps its momentum, this could very well be the second best Katamari game just behind W❤️K.

First Impressions so far: OUAK seems to be accomplishing a lot more than any of the post-Takahashi games ever did and has me pleasantly surprised, but seems to be missing a bit of the polish and "tightness", giving it a similar "jank" vibe that the remasters had.
