How warped are these MAGA-adjacent types?

@robbysoave.bsky.social thinks the foreign bots at X posting pro-MAGA crap are actually secret anti-MAGA operatives.

Makes sense in their world, which is full of Jewish space lasers and left-wing cabals at Astro Pizza

I know GOP and dinosaur wing of NY Democratic Party demonized Mamdami for his "free buses" idea.

But the concept of free transit in New York isn't new. In 1971, then-Bronx Boro President Robert Abrams wanted free subways. He urged $3-a-head payroll tax because he feared fares would rise to 50 cents

I finally figured it out. Donald Trump talks like late-in-his-career Frank Sinatra during one of his concerts. The music was bad enough by then, but Sinatra's cock-eyed, disjointed patter and mean-spirited "humor" between songs clearly affected Trump.

I'm an Android used, but I do recall Matthew Lynn in 2007 predicting that the iPhone would be an unimportant flop.

So why should I worry about his claim that Khan killed London and thus New York shouldn't elect Mamdani?
Voters in New York should study the lesson of London’s slow-motion car crash, Matthew Lynn writes.

"What happened to one half of NyLon can happen to the other as well — and a lot more quickly than New Yorkers might imagine."

Like Ross Douhat, I travel the country and run into many Americans who say: "I voted for Trump because we needed a bigger White House!"
In @nytopinion.nytimes.com

President Trump’s White House demolition is a small example of why his bull-in-a-china-shop approach has appeal, Ross Douthat writes. “The president’s eagerness to pre-empt objections and just do something that seems necessary is part of why voters find him attractive.”

Donald Trump is A problem when it comes to free speech. But THE problem is corporate control of media.

It was Disney who fired both Gina Carano, right-wing hero, and Jimmy Kimmel, left-wing hero.

Remember A.J. Liebling's 1960 judgement: Freedom of the press is guaranteed only to those who own one.
