Interesting note for those looking ahead to next year's Baseball Hall of Fame voting (cc @notmrtibbs.com), there will be a larger influx of first-time voters since MLB dot com writers who didn't hold previous BBWAA membership got it in 2016. This will be the 10th season & eligibility for 1st group.
